We are recruiting an IT Sales and Distribution Executive to join our client. As an IT Sales and Distribution Executive, you will be responsible for managing wholesale distribution channels and driving business growth in the IT products sector. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with our resellers, expanding our network, and achieving sales targets.

Our client is a market leader in IT hardware and services. They provide solutions and the sourcing, supply, and commissioning of IT hardware and relative hardware support solutions for Small and Medium businesses, Enterprise businesses, and Government entities, including enterprise servers, storage and networking products, desktops, monitors, notebooks, and tablets, printers, high-end workstations and retail point of sale systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with resellers for IT products.
- Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze sales data, and provide forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential reseller partners in the IT products sector.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and execute effective strategies to expand market presence and increase sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing resellers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide regular updates, training, and support to resellers to maximize their sales potential.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to address reseller needs and enhance product offerings.
- Set ambitious sales targets and develop action plans to achieve them.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate sales results and strategies to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and technological advancements in the IT products sector.
Requirements and Skill
- Proven track record in wholesale distribution and business development, preferably in the IT products industry.
- Knowledge of IT products and their market dynamics is considered an asset, but not necessary.
- Drivers licence B type.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with resellers.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as required.
