We are recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the company’s commercial strategies to ensure future revenue growth. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive Sales Plan and Strategy targeted at hotels, cafés, and restaurants, with a focus on achieving growth in volume and revenue while ensuring profitability through opportunity analysis, new client acquisition, and management of existing clients.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a sales team, fostering a culture of transparency, honesty, and dedication to the company’s mission.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive commercial growth in the hospitality sector.
- Analyze market opportunities and lead the acquisition of new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Ensure the profitability of the company’s sales efforts through careful planning and execution of the Sales Plan.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant qualifications in sales.
- Proven experience in successfully managing and motivating a sales team.
- Experience in Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés/Catering in Malta is preferred, although our client is also open to candidates from the retail sector who wish to expand their sales experience and have a passion for this industry.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach and high levels of integrity.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage complex systems and processes.
- A solid track record of successful achievements related to strategic planning and execution.
- Applicants should have experience in a similar position in Malta.
Annual gross salary between €38,000 and €42,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
