Roles and responsibilities
- Section Supervision: Manage and coordinate service in a specific dining area.
- Customer Interaction: Greet, present the menu, take orders, and answer questions about the dishes.
- Service Coordination: Work with waiters, commis de rang, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Table Setup and Teardown: Prepare and clean tables before and after service.
- Beverage Service: Serve drinks, including wine.
- Complaint Handling: Address complaints and suggestions, seeking quick resolutions.
- Staff Training: Train new waiters and commis de rang.
- Menu Knowledge: Be familiar with ingredients and preparations of dishes.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Guarantee an exceptional experience for customers.
- Cleanliness Maintenance: Keep your work area clean and tidy.
Requirements and skills
- Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.
- Hospitality graduate.
- Excellent time management skills.
