Mark Sciriha
Managing Director | Maltese
Studied Law with Europeans Studies at the University of Malta (including Erasmus at the Universidad de Oviedo in Spain) followed by a Masters in EU International Relations and Diplomacy at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
Message from the Managing Director
I founded The Latino Agent in 2018 at the height of Malta’s economic boom. As a lawyer specialising in international relations and immigration, and having worked as a diplomat for the European Union in Colombia, I wanted to bring my experiences together and offer both employers and job seekers a personalised and tailor-made service.
At The Latino Agent, we believe that the human and professional elements go together. While we are focused on the Latin American market in terms of sourcing of personnel, we embrace diversity and endeavor to offer our clients a recruitment plus service according to their needs. We have recruited Maltese speakers, EU nationals and people from all over the world; our focus in recruitment is on quality, attitude and commitment.
And where we need to go that extra mile in order to successfully complete, our complementary services such as with work permits and relocation are there to give you peace of mind.

My professional journey has taken me through various companies in Spain, Germany, and now Malta. With over 8 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, I bring a wealth of knowledge, particularly in payroll administration.
As an Office Manager, I firmly believe that an employee is, above all, a human being, not just a resource. That’s why I’m passionate about fostering the professional and personal growth and development of our employees.
I take great pride in collaborating with The Latino Agent, an agency that shares my philosophy and values.
In my role as an Office Manager, I am responsible for the comprehensive management to employee wellbeing, labour relations, policy compliance, as well as oversight and execution of administrative and accounting areas.My objective is to ensure that all employees are aligned with the organization’s objectives and culture, contributing to the company’s success and growth.

I am a professional in Accounting, with over 10 years of experience in the financial and accounting field. I have expertise in reconciling accounts and managing payroll processes, as well as using various accounting software. I am known for being highly organized and disciplined. In my free time, I enjoy exercising and reading. From my experience, I hope to contribute to the company by providing greater structure in its processes and organization to drive its growth.
As an HRS, I manage the entire payroll process for outsourced employees. This includes ensuring accuracy and compliance with all local regulations, as well as managing employee records, processing payrolls, and responding to employee inquiries about their salaries. For me, the most important thing is to work closely with employees and help them understand their pay and benefits.

I’m an attorney specializing in Gender Law, Refugee Law, and International Humanitarian Law. Ever since my adolescence, I’ve felt a deep sense of duty to help others. With over 8 years of experience, my journey has taken me from volunteering to daily work, supporting and assisting people from various nationalities, humanitarian contexts, and in different countries such as Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, and now Malta.
Through the years, I’ve learned that starting anew, without a support network, can be challenging. It’s not just about finding a home, food, and a job but also making friends. That’s why working at Latino Agent fills me with pride because we help create a support network for individuals from diverse backgrounds, where language can often be an additional barrier to achieving your goals.
Every day is a day of learning and enjoyment for me because I love connecting with people and hearing their stories. It’s not just a job; it’s my passion, which commits me to always provide the best support possible.

I hold a degree in Marketing with a 5-year track record, primarily in the educational sector. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in communication and marketing roles, overseeing the development and execution of marketing plans. Since childhood, I’ve been known for my creativity. One of the aspects of my profession that I’m most passionate about is customer experience. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for improvements that can enhance brand satisfaction and loyalty.
